Happy International Women’s Day!
Behind so many of the special moments at Stratton Court Barn is a team of incredible women. Today we’re celebrating them and sharing a little introduction to the wonderful people who help bring weddings here to life.
At the heart of the wedding journey here in the Oxfordshire countryside are Taryn and Holly, our Wedding & Events Managers, who many couples will get to know from the very start. Taryn and Holly know that planning a wedding can feel overwhelming at times, but they’re both firm believers that it should also be a joyful and exciting experience. With their calm approach, attention to detail and wealth of experience, they know exactly how to guide couples through the day and make sure everything runs beautifully from start to finish.
One of their favourite moments is seeing the your wedding day come to life – from the quiet anticipation before the ceremony to the transformation for the wedding breakfast. They never tire of looking up at our wedding barn’s stunning ceilings or hearing the mix of heartfelt and hilarious speeches that follow.
Taryn
Taryn is currently planning her own 2028 wedding and proudly describes herself as a Type A bride, meaning she loves the details and the planning process. Having experienced it firsthand, she understands that while wedding planning can feel overwhelming at times, it should also be an exciting and enjoyable journey. She has a real eye for detail and takes great pride in the finishing touches, helping to ensure every wedding looks beautiful right down to the final ribbon. Outside of the barn, Taryn enjoys reading, trips to the theatre, and spending time with her fiancé and their two much-loved fur babies, Willow and Maple.
Holly
Holly brings more than 10 years of experience in events management, having organised everything from festivals and concerts to proms and christenings. Weddings, however, have always been closest to her heart, making Stratton Court Barn the perfect place for her. She loves working with couples to help bring their plans to life and playing a part in creating truly memorable wedding days. When she’s not at the barn, Holly enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Zoë
Zoë spent 16 years working as a TV producer, building a career around storytelling, creativity and organisation — skills she now brings to Stratton Court Barn through her work in social media, marketing and wedding coordination. With a natural talent for capturing moments, couples began asking her to document their wedding days, and she’s now delighted to be part of our recommended suppliers list as a wedding content creator. Outside the barn, Zoë enjoys shooting film photography, spending time with her niece and heading out for brunch whenever the opportunity arises – it’s her favourite pastime.
Olivia
There’s Olivia our Operations Manager. She helps oversee the barn and can often be spotted on the ride-on mower – her favourite job! She’s involved in everything from groundwork around the estate to working alongside Jonnie to develop new ideas for the barn and help push things forward. Outside of the barn, she’s a keen horse rider who loves travelling and spending time with family.

Cathy
All our accounts are looked after by the wonderful Sarah , who always keeps everything organised for us.Our housekeepers Sharon (pictured) and Anna have the place spick and span early each morning and work hard to keep the barns looking so gorgeous.Our grounds are kept looking stunning thanks to Cathy our groundskeeper who you can always find outside in her wellies, tending to our beautifully kept gardens, plants and trees.
Ferne
And last but absolutely not least is Ferne. She such a force to be reckoned with that our woodland wedding setting, Ferne Wood, was named after her! She keeps us ALL (her brothers included) on our toes and when she’s not tearing round making sure we are all doing our jobs poroperly you’ll usually find her distracting Daddy (Jonnie) in the office, playing in the gardens or picking mint for your cocktails in our herb garden.
The team are here as much or as little as you need them. Whether it’s a phone call to put your mind at ease, an in person meeting to catch up, or sending over an example time line to help plan your day, the ladies at Stratton Court Barn are here for you every step of the way!
We’re also celebrating the many talented women across our recommended suppliers list and beyond – the florists, photographers, stylists, planners and creatives who help deliver all the beautiful elements that make a wedding day so special.
And of course, weddings here wouldn’t run without the whole team – including Jonnie, our Managing Director, Seb, our brilliant Bar Manager, and the wonderful bar team who keep the drinks flowing all day and night. 🍾
