Happy International Women’s Day!
Most of the team here at Stratton Court Barn is made up of wonderful women and we thought today would be a great day to introduce them to you!
Starting with our wedding and events team, which is run by two incredible women. Charlotte and Gemma. If you are thinking of holding an event or wedding at Stratton Court Barn you will very quickly meet one of them. From the first email, to showing you round the venue, to co-ordinating on the day they will help keep the whole process smooth, fun and as stress free as possible!
Charlotte completely understands the stresses of wedding planning as she is planning her own wedding for 2025. However, she thinks that this is the one and only time you’re going to do this so let’s have fun with it! Her favourite part of the venue is the main barn. She can’t help but look up every time she goes in there. The ceiling is just beautiful! Charlotte also loves the transformation from ceremony to wedding breakfast and hearing all the beautiful and hilarious speeches! When she isn’t co-ordinating weddings she is off on a long country walk with her fiancé and dog, then a good pub lunch!
Gemma has studied Event Management and is currently living her dream, helping create our couples special day and being able to share those memories. Gemma’s favourite part of the venue is The Hayloft. It is such a beautiful and comfortable space to be able to relax and get ready for your wedding day. Coming down the stairs also gives you that wow picture and is a great feeling to start your day. When Gemma isn’t working she enjoys brunch dates with her Nan or searching for new places to explore with her partner.
All our accounts are looked after by the wonderful Sarah, who always keeps everything organised for us.
Our housekeeper Sharon has the place spick and span early each morning and often tells us about her trips to the theatre as she goes.
Then lastly we have Cathy our groundskeeper who you can always find outside in her wellies, tending to our beautifully kept gardens, plants and trees.
The team are here as much or as little as you need them. Whether it’s a phone call to put your mind at ease, an in person meeting to catch up, or sending over an example time line to help plan your day, the ladies at Stratton Court Barn are here for you every step of the way!
