Wedding Gardens and Grounds
Tranquility, photo opportunities and countryside views. Do these things feature on your dream wedding venue list? Then come along and explore our wedding gardens, grounds and outdoors spaces.
The Rose Garden
The Rose Garden will be one of the first things your guests see as they walk through from the car park. This is our formal garden, and a brilliant part of our grounds for couple portraits and group photos.
From the Rose Garden, guests will be greeted in the Courtyard. Weather permitting, this is where we'll spend your drinks reception and of course watch the sunset too!
In the courtyard, you can find:
- Oak gazebo with cushy lounge furniture year round
- Oversized cream parasols on sunny days
- Fire pit with rustic benches at night
- 'Beer barrow' filled with ice and bottled beer
- Your street food van, if that's your vibe!
The Reception Lawn
The barn also boasts a front garden, that we affectionately call the Reception Lawn. The most brilliant place for lawn games and group photos.
The Grounds: Ferne Wood
From the Reception Lawn and Courtyard, you have the most glorious view across Frank's Field, with Ferne Wood on the other side. A short stroll across will give you the most heavenly photo opportunities. You can even decide to start your wedding day here!
