We've had some fun nominating the Best of 2018!
It’s the end of the year! And oh my, we’ve been treated to some amazing weddings. We’ve lived every minute of every wedding, and there are too many fantastic moments to mention them all here. But for a bit of fun, here is a run-down of this year’s favourite moments!
Favourite Flowers: Aisle
Lauren & Tom - September
Large 'cookie jar' style vases with a soft bouquet, including blush pink roses and trailing ribbon - what's not to love?!
Flowers by Kirsty
Favourite Barn Styling
Marie-Louise & Jack – August
Festoon lights, large hanging installation featuring festoon lights and greenery, and oversized foliage balls on gold plinths: This was sumptuous, yet stylish and rustic in one fantastic package.

Favourite Flowers: Bouquet
Joanna & Rizzo – October
Oversized, lush autumn hues, and some very stylish feathers - here is the very moment Jo sees here bouquet for the first time!
Willow & Thyme
Danielle & Peter - August
Fun, quirky, topsy-turvy cake with perfect sponge inside, and a really awesome topper.
Favourite Flowers: Centrepieces
(Although seen on the floor here!)
Cat & Jon - September
A mismatch of wellies in varying heights and sizes, with happy, colourful flowers and foliage "growing" out of the top. Super fun and perfectly matched to a September barn wedding.
The Little Flower Stall
Laura & Edwin – August
We braved the rain drops and went ahead with an outside ceremony. I'm so glad we did! It was magical starting the celebrations with the relaxed vibe of an outside wedding. The courtyard was the perfect backdrop.
Flowers by Kirsty
Annabel & Toby – April
A "bride and groom drink" is a great way of personalising your day. In this instance it was a Dark n Stormy and Pinkster with tonic and grapefruit.
Warren Day Design
White Stag Weddings
Hannah & Alex – June
A ceilidh band can sometimes put guests off if they're not sure what to do. But for Hannah and Alex everyone got involved and hopped and twirled and clapped their way through the night. Such fun!
Deliah Gleave Ceilidh Band
Favourite First Dance
Laurien & Norman – October
Have a look at the height difference... too funny when the best man brought the step stool out. 😂
Neil Vezina – Maverick & the chancers
Morgan & James – September
Selection of canapés
Crispy potato rosti, crème fraiche, parma ham and black olive tapenade
Large lamb roast, served on a Yorkshire pudding bed, to self-carve at the table by nominated person. Traditional accompaniments.
Trio of dessert: Bailey's cheesecake, lemon posset, chocolate brownie
(Unfortunately no images from the actual evening reception - but it was one epic night!)
Sian & Jon – July

Emily & Barnaby
In the garden... perfect emotion.

Lauren & Tom
Amazing photos don't require sunshine, as Lauren & Tom demonstrate here. Kissing in the rain - how romantic is that?

Lizzie & Mitch
Just the coolest couple, casually posing in the rape field.
Macieck MT Studio Weddings
Favourite Place Setting
Lizzie & Mitch – May
Menu with a place card clipped on with a cool copper clip, homemade gin favour and perfectly laid cutlery.
Laura & Matt – May
Glass charger plates, lots of foliage, gold cutlery, luxury macaron favours and a sprig of lavender on crisp linen napkins: this was seriously sophisticated.
Jess & Mo’s Best Man, Mr Williams - a legend

And in the bonus round:
Most Awesome Wedding Planning
Rebecca & Sam – November; Their wedding was planned to perfection, and it was done within three months (before a big move abroad!).
Most Resilient Couple
Faye & Reece – July: It was so unbelievably hot, and England was through in the World Cup, with the match being played on their day… but they simply went with it. Such a special day, because these two wonderful human beings refused to let anything prevent them from having the time of their life.
Well, this is such a tough one! But I loved the styling, floristry (Willow & Thyme), food and wine of this wedding - but most of all, I loved how Cat & Gavin and all of their guests were here to enjoy themselves. There is nothing we love more than people having a fantastic time from the moment they arrive and begging not to leave!

For all couples not mentioned above, don’t think that I didn’t enjoy every minute of your perfect day. There are just too many memories to choose from!
I hope every one of you have an amazing Christmas and New Year, where you cherish every new memory you’ve made together. I will miss you all.
Lots of love,
