We've had some fun nominating the Best of 2016!
I’ve cleared up my desk, virtually and literally, to start fresh for all 2017 weddings. While doing so, I found it impossible not to look back at 2016 and reminisce about the wonderful weddings that took place during the year. So, just as a bit of fun, I’ve created a “Best Of 2016” list.

Best Wedding
Well, this was a tough one! But the nomination this year goes to Mr and Mrs Dawes on 28th October. Everything simply came together: Willow&Thyme’s flowers, Oakwood Events' lights, Sally Brown’s food, OneEntertainment’s music, the White Stag photographers. But most importantly, the bride and groom’s attitude, along with their parents and friends, made for an incredible celebration from start to finish. Not to mention the groom’s final (slightly drunken) statement at the end of the night: “Karin, thank you for everything. You’re bloody scary, but amazing.” Haha!
For all couples not mentioned above, don’t think that I didn’t enjoy every minute of your perfect day. There are just too many memories to choose from! A super fresh apple green colour scheme, bell tent glamping in the pouring rain, “friends&family cakes”, pretty jugs of flowers, wheelbarrows full of beer, glamorous blue&gold theme, an outside video booth, a cigar bar, a white bouncy castle, singing waiters, South African inspired canapés, an authentic New York police car, a karate themed cake topper, a starlit dance floor, a 3D tree wedding cake, a slow-cook kitchen with an enormous cow head, a blackberry mojito cocktail, a fish&chip supper, a green and white candelabra-lit barn… the list is endless!
I hope every one of you have had an amazing Christmas and New Year, where you’ve cherished every new memory you’ve made together. I will miss you all.
Lots of love,
Karin x
